    The Country Operations Manager supports the Regional Operations Manager in developing and maintaining DNV GL’s culture and reaching business goals through professional and consistent Operations deliveries throughout the applicable country (country can mean a cluster of countries)

     

    The Country Operations Manager shall advice, challenge and support the Regional Operations Team in operations related matters.

     

    The Country Operations Manager shall actively promote, support and facilitate the fulfilment of DNV GL's Purpose, Vision and Values, and shall foster a culture of cooperation across the country.

     

    The Country Operations Manager shall plan, co-ordinate, support, follow-up and improve the activities of the Country in accordance with the framework in the DNV GL strategy, budget, the DNV GL Management System (DMSG) and other instructions given by the Regional Operations Manager.

     

     

    Major areas of responsibility are:

    • Responsible for ensuring and improving for operational efficiency and effective service delivery throughout the Country
    • Together with the Country Sales Manager accountable to meet Country business goals  and performance targets
    • Monitor and follow up forecast and business results at Country level
    • Enhance and simplify the operational interaction within the countries by closely cooperating with other Country Operations Managers, promote best practice sharing
    • Monitor the level of the performances of the people reporting to the function in order to evaluate the achievement of pertinent KPIs
    • Coordinate the individual Non-Exclusive personnel in order to achieve the established business goals
    • Cooperate with Finance for the forecast preparation and analysis related to Country production activities/services
    • Analyze and define the coverage of qualified resources needs (volume, schemes, qualification, geography) in relation to budget targets and ensure focus on continuous service quality improvement through management and development of people
    • Guarantee a homogenous approach at Country level in managing resources, performing activities, communication and cooperation within the country and in relation to other countries.
    • Cooperate with the Country Sales Manager on the areas where services could be developed to enhance DNV GL's position in the market place.
    • Support sales activities (presentations, customer visits) for new and existing customers.
    • Ensure professional customer support which leads to a high customer satisfaction and market reputation.
    • Acts as the primary contact towards accreditations bodies and global accredited units.
    • Monitoring and managing of impartiality issues. Ensuring the independent nature of the certification schemes is not compromised at any time.
    • Handling of complaint management and follow up of relevant actions.
    • Approval of expenses within the limits as given in chart of authorities
