  • Local Unit & Position Description

    DNV GL - Business Assurance global Technology and Services Function (TSF) is responsible for Global Accreditation and Compliance Governance in an efficient and cost effective way. The Global Compliance Unit (GCU), part of TSF, is responsible for managing global compliance as well as the global accreditations for a number of international management and product certification schemes.

    The GCU is now looking for a Global Accreditation Manager with sufficient knowledge of the certification market to reinforce the current GCU team.

    The successful candidate has experience in QES certification and accreditation. Further he/she will be part of the GCU Team in Barendrecht, Netherlands and play a senior role in delivery of global governance and compliance management to the DNV GL Business Assurance Regions. Your focus will be, in close cooperation with the Region Quality and Technical Managers, on the monitoring and guidance of Market Units (MUs) Quality and compliance performance. You  will be also to support the Regions/MUs in the most efficient and effective way to achieve their Quality and business targets and to keep the acceptance by our global Accreditation Bodies and/or Standard Owners.

    Within the GCU operational processes, you will be a part of the team responsible to maintain and/or extent global Accreditations, monitoring of our MU sampling process results, conducting global audits, working together with the Regions/MUs to solve Accreditation Body audit findings. Further you will closely work together with the production team and also perform auditor competence reviews, contract reviews, technical reviews and other analyses necessary to safeguard compliance. 

    Position Qualifications

    Applicants for this position should have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree certificate or equivalent and have experience in QES certification and accreditation. Lead Auditor experience will be an advantage.


    Personal requirements:

    • The successful candidate will need to be pragmatic and have an efficiency driven and solution oriented mindset.
    • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in the English language are essential. Dutch is preferred, otherwise willing to learn the language.
    • International travel will be expected.
