    You will be part of the Asset Management team and together with your colleagues you will help our customers achieve sustainable, world-class asset management processes and performance by offering services like risk management, process review & optimization, decision making support, condition & remaining life assessment, and power failure investigations. Many of the projects we execute are for electrical network asset owners, large industry customers. Our work is of an international nature, and often in cooperation with other DNV GL offices around the globe.


    Position Description


    Are you the consultant who is looking for a new challenge? Do you want to support DNV GL's customers  to improve their asset management performance within the Energy sector? Then we have the job for you.


    As an Asset Management Consultant, you will act as the trusted advisor of our customers and support them with solutions to optimize their asset performance linked to their business drivers. Working within a team of professionals you will be responsible acquisition, management and execution of projects. You analyze and give advice to customers on how to manage their assets in the most optimal way. Understanding the market, we operate in and delivering high quality content are key characteristics of an Asset Management Consultant within our team.


    You will also:

    • Perform field tasks of condition assessment ,analyze and interpret measurement- and diagnostic results obtained from field work for remaining life time determination and related recommendations
    • Start-up projects and monitor progress
    • Perform power failure investigations
    • Support with business development
    • Be a part of innovation and development for new or current diagnostic systems

    Position Qualifications


    We're looking for an enthusiastic team player who understands the technical consequences of a business decision as well as the business consequences of a technical decision, and can develop and maintain good relations with our customers.



    • You have at 5 – 8 yeras of experience in asset management, preferably working in this field related to Transmission System Operators and Distribution System Operators.
    • You have a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and Masters in respective engineering fields are preferred.
    • You have experience on working on establishing systems for asset management standards i.e ISO55000 at utility.
    • You have hands on experience on performing condition assessment of capital assets such as Transformers, switchgears in field and at desk.
    • You have experience in performing asset failure root cause analysis. 
    • You know how to manage risks and have knowledge of electrical components and/or grids.
    • You can lead (inter)national projects and function as a trusted partner of our customers.
    • You can write clear and high quality reports and commercial offers.
    • You have a growing professional network in the energy industry.
    • You have excellent English communication skills, as a second language proficiency in French will be preferred.
    • You are available to travel (inter)nationally on a regular basis.
