    What will you do as a Marketing & Communications Manager?

    You’ll be leading the German marketing team and become part of the regional marketing team for Central Europe and support us in growing our international brand in the testing, inspection and certification market. In this position, you will work closely with different service lines and segments, and together with them you will develop a specific marketing & communication plan. You will help the business departments and service lines with multiple marketing and communications requests like building thought leadership, specific digital marketing campaigns, inbound marketing and copy writing. Additionally, you will be in charge of branding, making sure we establish and build a strong and consistent global brand, and competitive positioning.

    As (inter-)national Marketing & Communications Manager you are an important advisor to the service lines, sectors and contribute towards the transformation of marketing from a supportive role towards a Driver for Growth.

     

    What you can do with us

    • You are responsible for the adaptation of global and regional marketing and communication goals in the German-speaking market.
    • In particular, you will continue to drive forward the conception and continuation of the digital B2B marketing and communication strategy with a focus on inbound and content marketing.
    • You develop a deep understanding of the testing and certification landscape and position DNV GL within our target groups through targeted and consistent communication.
    • You are responsible for the development and implementation of target group-specific digital marketing campaigns.
    • You design effective measures in dialogue with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
    • You drive the implementation of marketing automation processes.
    • You will be responsible for the evaluation and controlling of all digital (and "analog") marketing activities in terms of efficiency and effectiveness and will continuously improve both.
    • You will lead a small agile team and support the cooperation between the marketing departments of the Central Europe region.
    • Brand and visual identity (brand awareness)
    • Relation sales and lead generation. Marketing as part of the sales process
    • Analyzing and execution of SEM/Online marketing
    • Analyzing, monitoring and reporting to regional management
    • Develop and execute campaigns, measure performance and conversion optimization

    Position Qualifications

    What makes you different

    • You have a university degree (University/FH) in the field of marketing/communication or a comparable qualification and bring with you many years of experience from successful work on the agency side or from a marketing and communications department. Your experience is based on the conception and successful implementation of integrated marketing campaigns (integration of print, online and PR).
    • You have experience in influencer communication via social media such as LinkedIn, XING, Twitter etc.
    • You have very good analytical and conceptual skills and a distinct understanding of marketing, communication and sales processes in different channels.
    • You convince by your ability to work in a team and your communication skills both internally and externally.
    • You have a very good command of German and English language skills.
    • You are confident in negotiation and presentational skills and know how to move safely in an increasingly agile environment.
    • Excellent copy writing skills for the web and beyond (must)
    • Experienced in establishing and building a strong B2B brand, and claiming thought leadership
    • Experience in B2B marketing is a must
