    We are looking for an engaged Service/IT specialist for our Service and Support organisation, who is willing and capable to reach the next level together with us.

    We offer a challenging position where you are able to work in different projects supporting our existing customer base or to support our Project Management Team which takes care of our new customer on boarding setup.

    As we establish our support organisation also for location Singapore, we are looking for a highly independent candidate who is self-driven and also understands the need to follow agreed processes.

    This position will report to a Line Manager in Singapore.

    Position Qualifications

    • Organized, thorough, and has great attention to detail
    • Demonstrated working knowledge of hardware and networking basics
    • Able to install, configure, troubleshoot and support Windows clients and servers
    • Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
    • High level of analytical thinking to solve problems with an understanding of technology as well as an ability to ask the right questions and apply solutions to business problems
    • Effective oral, electronic and written communication with all levels of the organization
    • Does well with minimal “hands on” training and can pick-up new skills quickly and can “take the ball and run with it”
    • Document process, procedures, and results
    • Passionate, optimistic, and has internal inspiration to get things done

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Completed education as IT Specialist (3 years) or similar experience within this role for more than 3 years or Bachelor of Science for IT.
    • Knowledge of application support for ERP, Accounting/Financial software, shipping industry would be an advantage
    • In depth knowledge of all Microsoft Operating Systems
    • Network Topologies knowledge TCP/IP, DHCP
    • MS-Office Standard/Professional
    • Willingness to travel within SEA (20%)

    OPTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

    • Citrix, MS SQL-Server, VMWare, Oracle databases
    • Remote Installation, deployment and support.
    • Active Directory (user and resource management)
    • Knowledge with database administration (SQL Language)
