  • Local Unit & Position Description

    Real Estate Management and Procurement (REMPROC) is one of the 4 GSS streams and divided into 9 regions. Our main task is to deliver all Real Estate and Procurement services in our region West, South and East Europe (WSEE). As Real Estate & Procurement Expert you will be working in a dynamic environment implementing several new policies and developing new tools and systems.

     

     

    As a Real Estate and Procurement Expert, you will ensure a well-balanced working environment for the employees in the region within economical and rational standards. 

     

    You will be in contact with all (management) levels of the organization, as well as with service providers, suppliers and landlords.

    Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness is a prerequisite.

    You should possess a service-oriented attitude and a demonstrable ability to tailor your communication style to specific audience needs.

     

    The Real Estate and Procurement Expert will be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Real Estate project management; lease life-cycle management. New lease, renewal, surrender, termination, fitting out, moving
    • Real Estate cost management: budgeting, allocation, invoice handling, reporting, business case, profit & loss and ROI calculations
    • Real Estate property portfolio analyses: benchmarking, property sourcing
    • Translate business needs in strategical real estate portfolio
    • Procurement management: run procurement projects with a sharp eye for our customer needs. Strong supplier contract implementation skills. Pervasive in standardizing and optimizing procurement and purchasing processes. Main responsibility will be managing and guarding the implementation of National, Regional and Global supplier contracts
    • Create and maintain positive relationships with team and clients to ensure high level of satisfaction

     

    Internally your key stakeholders will be Station- and Country managers of all Business Area’s as well as Country Chairs. Externally your main contacts will be (national) account managers from preferred suppliers.

    Position Qualifications

    The successful candidate will possess the following required degrees and competencies:

    • Master/Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Management / Facilities Management / Procurement management
    • Proven Project - and Change Management skills
    • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Real Estate / Facilities and Procurement in fast-paced MNC environment
    • Excellent English and Italian language skills required, written and verbal
    • Experienced in working in an Italian business environment and culture
    • Able and prepared to have frequent travels. Mainly within Italy, however also in Europe

    The Global Share Service (GSS) organization within DNV GL provides high quality, cost effective services and processes within Human Resources, Finance and IT, based on requirements defined by the business areas and Group. GSS also develops central competence for distinct services, projects and development and will support policy, procedures and system implementation on global, regional and local level.
