The Singapore office has a goal of becoming a global clean technology hub. Supporting this ambition, DNV GL has during the past year partnered with key Singaporean agencies and institutions to establish the DNV GL Clean Technology Centre (CTC). The CTC joined the APAC DNV KEMA team in January 2013 with ambitious growth plans to establish DNV KEMA in South East Asia. Now the CTC is part of the DNV GL Energy Advisory team and will partner with customers to create joint technological and commercial solutions at the cutting edge, acting as a catalyst and bridge between the players in the clean tech space to build trust, credibility and transparency. DNV GL’s global resources and experience will be used to create solutions suited for the Asian context.
As part of DNV GL’s Energy Advisory Group in Singapore and Asia Pacific the role will involve working along with other specialists in energy and renewable technologies to provide technical consulting services. The role also has business development responsibilities. This includes working with our business development team to establish long-term customer relationships, keeping abreast of industry needs and trends, as well as participation in industry events to ensure that DNV GL's service offerings are well-known and well-respected in the power industry.
The role will be focused on supporting our existing customers and seeking out new opportunities and challenges with regards to the dynamic and rapidly evolving domain of asset management relating to Electrical Transmission and Distribution systems, where cost, reliability and performance take a central role.
As an Electrical Engineer under the Asset Management Team, you will be responsible for project engineering and delivery for customers in different industries and the need to keep abreast with industry and technology trends.
