  • Local Unit & Position Description

    We are looking for a candidate who will manage and run the marketing and communications activities in APAC to ensure market success of our software solutions, services and new areas of business.


    Key work areas are:

    • Establish and run a tactical marketing and communications plan in APAC, with corresponding activity plan. All to enhance our Reach, Reputation, Relation and Revenue.
    • Campaign planning and execution, utilizing channels like social media, video, ads, webinars, events, PR, search engines, web, etc. to ensure optimal regional presence.
    • Close cooperation with Sales to ensure customer satisfaction, lead follow-up and proactive evaluation of new marketing opportunities.
    • Close cooperation with Digital Solutions Global Marketing and other Business Area MarCom functions to drive collaboration, increase DNV GL’s reach and reputation and discover new opportunities.
    • Supporting DS Global Marketing in regional content creation.
    • Be responsible for marketing analytics and reporting within APAC, utilizing tools like Salesforce and Google Analytics.
    • Keeping our regional marketing channels up-to-date (web, social media)
    • Continuously focus on achieving lead and opportunity targets, and improving conversion rates of the marketing and communications activities.

    Position Qualifications

    • Minimum five years of experience from b2b/b2c/b2p marketing communications on tactical and operative level.
    • You have broad and in-depth knowledge of digital marketing programs and can develop a strategy thereafter implement tactical and operational plans based on your systematic findings.
    • Background from international IT/software organizations is an advantage.
    • In addition to the above you have experience from the following areas:
      Event management
      CRM tools, Salesforce and/or Oracle is an advantage
      CMS tools, like SDL/Tridion (or other)
      Social media tools (WeChat, LinkedIn)
      Project management
      Marketing ROI analytics

    • Willingness to travel.
    • You are sociable and enjoy meeting new people.
    • Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin) language.
