    An exciting opportunity to shape the way we deliver HR services in GSS has arisen, as the Global Shared Services organization is seeking for a Head of Global Centre GSS HR.

    We are seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, proactive and result-oriented manager with a strong passion for HR, who thrives working in a global, diverse and fast paced environment. The successful candidate will hold entrepreneurial responsibility to operate and continuously improve the HR Shared Service Centre.

     

    The Global Centre GSS HR provides services to all European countries DNV GL operates in, as well as selected services with global scope. The Global Centre GSS HR consists of four sections: HR Direct, HR Office, HR Payroll and HR Recruitment. Services are rendered in close collaboration with several Regional Centres.

     

    The Head of Global Centre HR will report to Director GSS HR Operations and be part of the GSS HR global management team. This position is based in Gdynia, Poland and International Assignment conditions may apply.

     

    Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

     

    • Running GSS Global Centre HR operations within defined scope after successful transformation
    • Designing, building and running global standardization and digitalization projects to continue modernizing HR Services
    • Monitoring and improving the service delivery through defined functional Key Performance Indicators Service Level Agreements and targets
    • Exchanging with different functional groups of the company and key stakeholders on service delivery and expectations
    • Managing managers and further direct reports
    • Recommending and overseeing the implementation of business process improvements
    • Ensuring that all HR SSC activities are delivered according to company, legal, regulatory, and tax requirements
    • Maintaining excellent working relationships with multiple Regional Centers and other internal stakeholders as well as external providers to further mature the service platform

    Position Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required
    • Previous leadership experience of minimum 3 years
    • A minimum 7 years of Human Resources experience in a large organization, preferably in the shared services sector
    • Excellent command of English language
