    DNV GL – Energy's Sustainable Energy Use – PDI group is seeking an Energy Efficiency Project Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of a program directed at providing energy efficiency services for residential customers in the Southern California area. This position will be based in our Anaheim, CA office.

     

    Tasks May Include

    • Responsible for the direction of the administrative and field rep. personnel
    • Program management working closely with utility client personnel to monitor program/project results including energy savings, quality assurance
    • Manage performance of several subcontractors
    • Managing to client expectations and building client relationships
    • Reviewing and processing invoices, analysis of energy efficiency projects and field inspections
    • Develop recommendations to improve the program as needed
    • Build strategies for achieving program goals and increasing energy efficiency among residential or small business customers
    • Budget management and tracking of performance against goals
    • Identify client growth strategies and activities
    • Deliver presentations to a variety of stakeholders including utility clients, customers, community organizations, trade allies on energy efficient technologies and program incentives for these technologies
    • Preparation of written reports

    Position Qualifications

    Position Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree is required. Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering or a Technical discipline is preferred 
    • Minimum 3 years of program/project management experience is required
    • Minimum 3 years of sales, business development and/or client account management experience
    • An energy industry background, or related field, with a solid knowledge of energy efficient technologies and practices is strongly preferred
    • Working knowledge of local Energy Efficiency Programs and professional network preferred
    • Experience delivering presentations or other public forums
    • Strong proposal and technical writing experience
    • Budget and data management experience 
    • Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
    • Must be able to prioritize and work both, independently and as part of a team
    • Proactively seeks to identify real customer needs and manages customer expectations accordingly
    • A positive, collaborative and team-oriented attitude
    • Willingness and ability to travel, up to 20% of the time
    • Ability to travel within California; Must be able to meet the requirements to drive for company business
    • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
