  • Local Unit & Position Description

    Key roles and responsibilities

    1. Marketing and sales
      1. Identify marketing and sales opportunities and supporting sales to achieve set sales targets
      2. Prepare and submit quotes
      3. Contract negotiation
      4. Contract closure
      5. Coordinate with global functions on internal work order
      6. Invoicing
      7. Credit collection including TDS
      8. Project closure on DNV GL system
    2. Administration of social audit portals e.g., ARAVO (Unilever), SEDEX and others
      1. Responding to alerts and queries from the platforms
      2. Scheduling audits in the platform
      3. Uploading of report in the platform
    3. Operations:
      1. Maintenance of auditor competence, arranging training, communication of changes to auditors as well as sales personnel
      2. Perform social audits as lead auditor or team member; including social audit reporting based on DNV GL ICP
      3. Coordination with the planners for ensuring availability of auditors; Audit scheduling
      4. Technical review of the social reports and uploading in platform within 10 days of audit as per DNV GL ICP and global requirements of social schemes
      5. Follow up and completion of Follow up audits
      6. Closure of NCs in the platforms
      7. Coordination with sales in resolving issues with customer
      8. Attending clients for resolving issues like registration in platform, submission of corrective actions etc.
      9. Any other activity related to social audits.
    4. Regarding SA8000:
      1. Administration of SAI Social Fingerprint portal
      2. Timely delivery of social fingerprint evaluation reports to LAs
      3. Monitoring of completion of social fingerprint evaluation by client and Las
      4. Assisting clients to register with SAI and completing social fingerprint evaluation
      5. Coordination with SAI & SAAS related to social fingerprint evaluation
      6. Ensuring compliance to SAAS accreditation requirements
      7. Maintenance of competence of LA/As

    Position Qualifications


    • Graduate with in any field (preferably Engineering) or Masters in Social Work (MSW)
    • Advance course in SA8000 is mandatory

    Experience: 10 + years in social audits including SA8000, SEDEX with over 200+ audits days experience on social audits like SA8000, SEDEX, URSA, ETI etc.
