    DNV GL Energy - Power TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certifications) also known as KEMA Laboratories is esteemed as top service by the international world of energy. At the moment, Power TIC is mainly focused on performing tests and inspections on medium and high voltage components.
    Power TIC offers specialized and innovative services and is organized in four teams including: High Power Laboratory (short circuit testing), High Voltage Laboratory (In its laboratories and on site), Inspections (Witnessing of HV/MV test), and Calibration & Metering (Measurement equipment calibration and testing).

     

    At our location in Prague, KEMA Laboratories is experienced in power arc tests, internal arc classification tests, short-circuit tests, switching tests, dielectric tests and other tests on equipment for transmission and distribution of electricity.
    KEMA Laboratories Prague offers KEMA-branded services in specific low voltage, medium voltage and high voltage areas.
    The laboratory in Prague is expanding; they are in need of a measurement technician.

     

    The team exists out of dedicated engineers who are well motivated in the world of electrical engineering. These engineers are trained in world’s largest short circuit lab in the Netherlands to maintain a high quality of testing where KEMA Laboratories is well known for.

     

    Right now we are looking for an Measurement Technician Laboratories.

     

    Job description:

    • Ensures and maintains metrological and calibration services for testing laboratories HPL and HVL
    • Performs a proposal and preparation of measuring circuits (sensors, routes, recording equipment)
    • During the test he carries out the prescribed measurements and evaluates them according to the instructions given by the test shift leader and controls the test procedures mentioned in the relevant standards or guidelines
    • Actively cooperates with the customer in implementation of the test program
    • Is involved in connecting and time set up in the laboratory control room
    • Prepares video cameras and speed cameras for the test and during the test he records the video
    • Conducts an evaluation of the measured quantities and video processing as a basic material for test reports
    • Provides control and maintenance of the measuring lines and measuring devices
    • Provides inspections and maintenance of hardware resources for recording of the measured values
    • Operates and maintains the technical documentation for measuring devices and equipment
    • Identifies the development of measuring methods and equipment, development of technologies and evaluation methods
    • Prepares, leads and realizes the chosen investments and maintenance projects of control room
    • Manages the given agenda and realizes the activities according to the normative quality of the testing laboratories accreditation
    • Participates on technical meetings and suggests topics for the discussions regarding measuring

    Position Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • University degree  in electrical or secondary education and higher
    • Knowledge of electrical machinery and devices

     

    • Active English language, written and spoken
    • Microsoft Office package knowledge
    • Good communication skills
    • Driving license group B is an advantage
