  • Local Unit & Position Description

    DNV GL Energy in Italy has been delivering services to developers, owners, operators and financiers of renewable energy projects, specifically in onshore wind and solar, to enhance our customers' projects, technology and operations.

     

    For our section Project Engineering (PE) of renewable energy advisory, we are looking for an Intern, who would like to start with us his/her professional experience.

     

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Assisting in operations monitoring of proposed wind and solar farms, including inspections
    • Support in various stages technical due diligence reviews of renewable energy assets
    • Assisting in performing any other work that comes under Project Engineering department 

    Position Qualifications

    Requirements:

     

    • Engineering degree recently achieved in Mechanical/Aerospace/Physics/Atmospheric science/Mathematics or any similar/equivalent field and level
    • Proficiency in both MS Office Word and Excel
    • Overall computer skills and willingness to learn multiple software tools
    • Aptitude in the statistical analysis of data
    • Native (fluent) in Italian, good written and verbal communication skills in English required
    • Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely
    • Preferred Skills (Not Required): One year student exchange program outside Italy
    • Knowledge in programming languages (Excel VBA, Python, C#, Access and/or R, SQL, HTML)
