    DNV GL – Energy’s Sustainable Energy Use – PDI group is seeking a Technical Project Coordinator/Marketing Support to join our Pilots team, to manage the day-to-day operations of a program directed at providing energy efficiency products to small business customers and to assist with our Training Centers education/training of customers, contractors, and trade allies. This position is based out of our Okemos, MI office.

     

    Tasks May Include

    • Program management, working closely with utility client personnel to monitor program/project results including energy savings and quality assurance
    • Manage performance of subcontractors
    • Support launching and management of new pilot programs
    • The programs life cycle will include research of existing industry knowledge, determining equipment selection and installation, monitor equipment, create case study and educate and promote technology
    • Review and process invoices
    • Facilitate analysis of energy efficiency products
    • Build strategies for achieving program goals and increasing energy efficiency among small business customers
    • Develop recommendations to improve the program as needed
    • Budget management and tracking of performance against goals
    • Coordinate, schedule and assist in managing live events
    • Deliver presentations/trainings to a variety of stakeholders including utility clients, customers, community organizations, trade allies on energy efficient technologies and program incentives
    • Preparation of written reports

    Position Qualifications

    Position Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree is required. Bachelor’s in Marketing or Communications is preferred
    • Minimum 2 years of customer service and marketing experience is required
    • Minimum 2 years of education, training, and talent management experience is preferred
    • Audio-visual experience to troubleshoot projector, polycom conference caller, Creston interface and computer issues
    • Proficient with IOS and Android device and apps operations
    • Budget and data management experience
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers, clients and colleagues
    • Experience delivering presentations or other public forums
    • Strong report writing skills
    • Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Must be able to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
    • Proactively seeks to identify real customer needs and manages customer expectations accordingly
    • A positive, collaborative and team-oriented attitude
    • Willingness and ability to travel, up to 5% of the time
    • Physical abilities necessary to perform regular function of the job (standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing, other) to move training materials, signs and audio-visual equipment.
    • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
