    DNV GL Business Assurance is looking for an experienced CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Systems & Project Manager. This position will focus on analyzing current procedures and problems of existing system infrastructure in our aim to improve process efficiency, worker productivity, and position the business for growth.  This person will play a critical role in continuing to drive transformation by developing system solutions that benefit business goals for all six services lines (MSC, Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Product Assurance, Supply Chain Management, and Training).


    In additional to the technical acumen needed for the role, this person will identify stakeholders who will be impacted by system changes, understand various levels of authority, consult with management to agree on principles of systems requirements, manage relationships with stakeholders, including managing the operational delivery in Region North America.  Collaboration with DNV GL global Business Assurance teams within our international network will also be required.


    This position will be responsible for handling needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis to align the technology of the company with their business strategies. They receive business needs from management, solicit product and enhancement requirements from end users and must be able to convert the requests from both into a workable solution to present to technology staff. Occasionally, this person might work directly with clients, requiring good communication skills, as well as fundamental technical troubleshooting abilities. This position might need to test software or coordinate a testing environment. They may need to work with project managers to implement a solution throughout the company. The CRM Systems & Project Manager positon will be located in our Katy, Texas office (Houston, TX area).



    Tasks may include


    • Technical subject matter expert and provide in-house technical support for Enterprise IT systems. Review integration challenges between systems and provide resolution.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert for system capabilities and recommend opportunities for enhancement.
    • Create and manage project plans and coordinate work with development teams.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate requirements gathering sessions, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable systems requirements for delivery.
    • Use combined knowledge of business’s current technology infrastructure combined with knowledge of other software applications, use the knowledge to support the business through technology.
    • Create, review and deliver end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts, training materials, etc.).
    • Implement standardized processes for requirements gathering and analysis (templates, communication, etc.).
    • Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
    • Support small and large-scale implementations spanning business logic design.
    • Conduct evaluations of 3rd party applications and provide recommendations to reduce reliance on development.
    • Coordination of the CRM team’s application of all aspects of the established software development lifecycle.
    • Overall management of project prioritization, risk, scope, schedule and their impact on budget assessments.
    • Support the troubleshooting of issues and basic administration tasks for critical issues when required.
    • Align business and IT initiatives and contribute in delivering the IT roadmap. Server as internal technical expert for project implementations.
    • Understand business requirements, provide input in design solutions, create process maps and project plans for new IT implementations as well as enhancements.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Specific KPIs related to the tasks and responsibilities of the CRM Systems & Project Manager will be established in the yearly planning process. The performance versus these KPIs will be followed up by the Regional Manager. The Regional Manager will perform an annual evaluation of the CRM System & Project Manager.

    Position Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 10 - 12 years configuring and customizing CRM solutions is required.
    • At least 5 years' experience leading technical aspects of projects and delivering applications is required.
    • 3-5 years of Business Analyst, Project Manager or Consulting experience
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience configuring customized Dynamics CRM solutions including creating plugins and custom workflow activities
    • Strong understanding of end-to-end software development process and system development lifecycle.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts at all levels.
    • Ability to consider upstream and downstream process impacts and implications.
    • Ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues.
    • ITIL (IT Information Library) Certification desired
    • Ability to leverage on digital transformation to drive performances
    • Ability to drive and support change initiatives
    • We conduct a pre-employment background check and drug screen.



    • Project Management certification is desired.
    • Understanding of Oracle is desired
