    DNV GL has consolidated the Global Shared Services |(GSS) HR service delivery into Regional Centres where proximity to the Business Areas is required and has built a Global Centre HR in Poland that delivers services that are location independent and/or can be digitalized.  
     
    As Senior HR Advisor Benelux you are based in the GSS HR Regional Centre for West, South and East Europe (WSEE) in Arnhem, the Netherlands. The region WSEE is serving approximately 2.000 employees located across 21 countries. The largest countries are Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Greece and Belgium. Together with the offices in Greece and Italy we have an international team of 20 HR professionals working in a high performance and development culture. The Regional Centre focus on delivery of HR specialist - and HR advisory services to the line management across the Region. 
     
    We are seeking a SENIOR HR ADVISOR BENELUX  
     
    As the Senior HR Advisor you are responsible for advising management of the Business Area’s in Belgium (Antwerp) and Rotterdam, with in total 300 employees. You support the Country Chair in Belgium and senior country management in Belgium and Rotterdam to ensure all advisory, recruitment, C&B and labor law requirements. As a senior HR Advisor, you need to understand the various Business Areas challenges and need to collaborate with the Expert Centre in Arnhem and the Global Centre HR in Poland. You are customer centric, flexible and you need to have a broad HR knowledge.  
     
    You will report to the Regional Manager of GSS HR WSEE. The position is based in Arnhem, the Netherlands, and for this challenging job a competitive salary and lease car apply. In average 40% travelling time is expected to service the business in Belgium (Antwerp and Rotterdam.  

     
    Key tasks: 
    As the senior HR Advisor you are responsible for executing the following activities:  

    • Consult and advise of Country Chair Belgium and senior management to support and deliver key business goals, including change management, including reorganizations and exit negotiations 
    • Recruitment: advise on recruitment plan, conduct 2nd interviews with candidates and negotiation about contract terms & conditions  
    • Perform annual C&B reviews and handle country specific C&B topics like salary adjustments and pension 
    • Global Mobility advice to line management 
    • Monitor local legislation, ensure local HR requirements and cooperation with local employee relation bodies where applicable. This includes vendor management of 3rd party providers 

    Position Qualifications

    • Bachelor/University degree in a relevant area  
    • Approximately 5 – 10 years of broad HR experience, ideally in multinational environments, in several HR fields such as change management, HR advice, compensation & benefits, international assignments, pension & insurance  
    • Experience of working closely with senior stake-holders to gain buy-in and being able to support HR and company initiatives  
    • Knowledge of the specific labor market and knowledge and practical application of C&B and labor law in the Netherlands and preferably also in Belgium 
    • Excellent English and Dutch language skills required, written and verbal
