    The Global Centre HR will deliver high quality HR services to European countries; service scope is services that are location independent and/or can be digitalized. Services are rendered in close collaboration with the GSS HR Regional Centres within Europe and Centres of Competence, together developing the Global Shared Service HR function for DNV GL.

     

    We are seeking Specialist HR Direct for our Global Centre HR. The Specialist HR Direct will be part of the HR Direct Team responsible for the delivery of day-to-day quality services to Employees and Line Managers for one of the GSS HR Regions in Europe.

     

    The Specialist HR Direct will report functionally to the Group Leader - HR Direct and legally to the Head of Section - HR Direct.

    At the outset you will be engaged on challenging project work in building up the HR Direct Team in Gdynia, further planning and maturing the future concept and service delivery model within HR Direct services, including analysis and planning, process evaluation and design and data knowledge build up.

    To succeed in this role you will provide project management skills, co-ordination skills and on the job training for the junior members of the team. You will be a role model for the junior colleagues in HR Direct and actively support service implementation, development and continuous improvement of HR Direct deliveries.

     

    This is time-limited contract of employment.

     

    Key Tasks:

     

    • Supporting GSS HR Regions in Europe
    • Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form with customers  in order to provide them with the best possible solution
    • Provide 1st line of support with the highest attention to quality and time standards
    • Acting as the first point of contact for employees and providing them with support in HR related matters
    • Contribute to the day-to-day activities of the HR Direct Team
    • Actively participate in knowledge sharing with HR Direct team and stakeholders
    • Train team members within the HR Direct Team – primarily on the job training
    • Work collaboratively with the team members within the HR Direct Team to share ideas for the continuous improvement of processes in HR Direct
    • Contribuute and support HR project activities 

    Position Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferable within HR, Psychology or Business Administration
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience within HR
    • Previous work experience in SSC/BPO environment will be a strong asset
    • Ticketing management systems knowledge will be an advantage
    • Excellent English skills – both written and verbal
    • Proven ability to learn and understand software/HR IT systems
    • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Applications
