    DNV GL Energy delivers world-renowned testing and advisory services to the energy value chain including renewables and energy efficiency. Our expertise spans onshore and offshore wind power, solar, conventional generation, transmission and distribution, smart grids and sustainable energy use, as well as energy markets and regulations.     Key tasks: 

    • Deliver consultancy services for customers in Asia Pacific
    • Support project work with a focus on financial modelling of energy storage system (ESS) business models, power and REC price forecasts, investor due diligence on power and renewable energy markets and regulatory advice
    • Support the acquisition of new projects including preparation of proposals and meetings with customers
    • Support preparations of reports, delivery of presentations and completion of project reports to our customers

    Position Qualifications

    • University degree in Electrical Engineering or Economics with a specialization in energy
    • 2 – 3 years of relevant working experience preferable
    • Good understanding of opportunities and issues in power markets due to high grid penetration of renewable energy and ESS
    • Advanced financial and energy modelling skills (e.g. using VBA, Python, Plexos)
    • Good quantitative and analytical skills
    • Excellent command of the English language and proficiency in at least one of Mandarin, Japanese or Korean is preferable
    • Good communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent team-player and self-starter
    • Willingness to travel abroad (up to 30% of the time)
