    To enhance our Reach, Reputation, Relations and Revenue - we are searching for a top motivated colleague to take on the role as our Marketing and Communications Manager, Oil and Gas Software.
    The role will be placed in the Global Marketing and Communications unit in DNV GL Digital Solutions located either in London, United Kingdom or Høvik (Oslo), Norway. Digital Solutions is one of five business areas in DNV GL, and the Marketing and Communications (MarCom) team consists of 18 dedicated people. Including our Regional Marketing and Communications unit we are in total 24 highly skilled professionals. You will work in close cooperation with colleagues from our divisions: Sales, Consulting and Product & Technology, in addition to peers in the other business areas and Group Communications. 

    The role will report to Head of Section for "Campaigns ", a unit consisting of additional five Marketing and Communication Managers covering our different software product lines within oil and gas, maritime, energy and QHSE as well as our Regional MarCom. In addition, the MarCom unit consists of the following pillars: Content and Brand, Analytics, Digital Platforms & Technology, Media Relations & Internal Communications.


    We are looking for a candidate who will manage the marketing and communications activities to ensure the global market success of our process safety software portfolio, mainly targeting the oil and gas industry. Joining our international marketing team, you should have in-depth marketing experience and a passion for digital marketing. You will work closely with different teams in the company to develop lead generation campaigns driving our revenue.


    Key tasks include, but are not limited to: 

    • Develop campaign strategies and conduct targeted multi-channel campaigns focusing on lead generation and conversion
    • Develop creative ideas and content for digital marketing purposes and market them effectively through our digital channels
    • Closely cooperate with sales and product development teams to determine customer needs and translate them into effective marketing campaigns
    • Run the lead management process for your portfolio
    • In collaboration with product development run the product roll-out processes for your software portfolio
    • Develop digital customer journey nurturing programs, both pre- and after purchase
    • Expand DNV GL's brand recognition through relevant brand awareness campaigns

    Position Qualifications

    • Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
    • 5+ years of experience from b2b/b2c/b2p marketing communications on tactical and operative level
    • Broad and in-depth knowledge of digital marketing programs and ability to develop a strategy thereafter implement tactical and operational plans based on your systematic findings
    • Experience in Search Engine Marketing / Optimization including Google Analytics and Adwords
    • Project management experience and skills
    • Knowledge and experience in Marketing ROI analytics, Challenger Sale methodology, Customer Journey Mapping
    • Background from international IT/software organizations is an advantage
    • CRM and marketing automation tools, (Salesforce and/or Oracle) is an advantage
