  • Local Unit & Position Description

    CRM Section is in the process of extending our Section and support team to be present in Gdynia, Poland.
    Our Section is currently represented in Høvik and Arnhem.
    You will be part of our Global Operation Team. Unit’s main office is located at Høvik, with a satellite in Arnhem and associated support hubs in Shanghai and Houston.
    We are responsible for the Operation & Support of two Siebel instances & Service Cloud application where our current Document Management System (Livelink) is connected. One of our Siebel Production systems will move to Cloud Solutions and will be connected to our new Document Management System (Opentext Content Server)
    We will migrate all documents for both Production systems from Livelink to Opentext Content Server next year.

    We are looking for a person who will be responsible for daily operation of both systems and migration towards the new environment. Sunset activities for current system will be in focus short term.


    Main responsibilities:

    • Coordinate support activities with all support hubs world-wide
    • Responisble for daily operation tasks & activities
    • Provide 2nd and 3rd line application and process support to the users
    • Keep Support documentation up to date
    • Problem and change management of the applications
    • Contribute to enhancing the applications to improve our business units competitive edge
    • Contribute to enhancing the users’ application knowledge
    • Support and monitor the business units' usage of the applications
    • Participate in integration & user acceptance testing
    • Work closely with our main partners, system integrators.
    • Sunset activities
    • Participate in or manage projects related to the development, maintenance or testing of systems within own unit or other GSS IT units

    Position Qualifications

    Successful candidates should have good understanding of the IT technical aspects as well as interest in the supported business processes. We are looking for persons with experience or knowledge in several of the following areas:

    • Proficiency in English – spoken and written; the working language is English
    • 3+ years of related experience within support and/ or development of applications
    • Experience with Microsoft Technologies (Microsoft SQL; .Net)
    • Sys Admin activities/DB Config.
    • Experience in system integrations

    • Good communication skills
    • Enjoy working in an international environment
    • Have a systematic and analytical approach to tasks at hand
    • Be service-oriented and have a proactive attitude
    • Have the ability to work individually, and at the same time maintain a high team spirit
    • Enjoy new challenges and personal drive to achieve our objectives
    • Some travel to Norway may be required
