    Purpose of the role:

     

    Advisory is a single department of 200 plus people. The Advisory department consists of three sections (Enterprise Risk, Safety Risk & Gas Technology). Due to growth in our services, we are looking to recruit one consultant within our Performance Forecasting Team in the Enterprise Risk section. The Performance Forecasting team covers a variety of services including RAM modelling, Operational Performance, Transport Logistics, FMEA/FMECA, Data Analysis, etc. The focus will be primarily the O&G industry (upstream, midstream and downstream), but the team also covers other process industries and utility sectors.


    The Performance Forecasting team uses a variety of in house RAM modelling software (in particular TARO, MAROS and OPTAGON) to help clients maximise performance of their assets throughout their life cycle.


    The role will be based in Loughborough or London but there will also be a requirement to travel in the UK and occasionally overseas for the client-related work.


    Applicant will have 1 to 3 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas, Utilities or Energy industry. Knowledge of RAM modelling and/or reliability analysis techniques will be an advantage. A good understanding of Oil and Gas processes and the ability to read and interpret engineering documents is essential.


    The role will be largely technical, with some elements of customer engagement. These may involve attendance at project meetings, presentation of results, and identifying future business opportunities with new and existing clients. Training will be provided to not only enhance technical knowledge but also in areas such as Project Management & Sales Development.


    Applicant will be required to have a degree in an Engineering discipline (minimum 2:1). Mathematics or natural sciences may be considered with appropriate experience in an Engineering field.
