  • Local Unit & Position Description

    The Global Centre Finance delivers high quality services to European countries related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Record to Report processes. Services are rendered in close collaboration with the GSS Finance Regional Centers, together developing the Global Shared Service Finance function for DNV GL.

     

    We are seeking an Accounting Intern for the Accounts Payable department at Global Centre GSS Finance based in Gdynia, Poland.

     

    The successful candidate will join a team of nine Accountants providing services to our Client based in United Kingdom and Ireland. What we value the most in the Team is good atmosphere, supporting one another and constant development.

     

    Key tasks:

     

    • Processing invoices and auditing expenses in a timely and accurate manner
    • Analyzing and responding to Client’s and customer’s requests
    • Working closely with the Client and building up good relationship
    • Working on everyday improvements to the process

    Position Qualifications

    • Status of a student with good analytical skills and relevant degree in economic or science studies in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (preferable last year of Bachelor's studies or first / second year of Master's degree)
    • Availability to work a minimum 30 hours per week
    • Fluency in both written and spoken English
    • Working knowledge of MS Office tools
    • Previous experience (internship, work practice) gained during studies will be an advantage
