  • Local Unit & Position Description

    DNV GL Digital Solutions is seeking an experienced solution sales and business development professional with substantial experience in (solution) sales and account management to join our Digital Solutions team in the Area UK-BeNeLux. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our Ecosystem QHSE-Risk solution across various industries. We are looking for a dynamic person (ideally) with experience selling QHSE-R or digital solutions, generally. Our experienced team delivers a successful and growing suite of enterprise digital solutions and works collaboratively with our colleagues with the Maritime, Oil & Gas, Energy & Business Assurance areas within DNV GL.

    • Synergi Life – A world-class mature and evolving digital solution used across various industries to manage all aspects of QHSE & Enterprise Risk.
    • An additional complement of Digital Solutions and services driving customer value and success.

    The Regional Sales Manager contributes to the unit’s goals for order intake, revenues, profitability, and market penetration throughout the UK & BeNeLux.

    • Participates in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner.
    • Initiates contact with potential clients with a clear objective to develop a sales pipeline of (qualified) opportunities.
    • Arranges client meetings, utilise dedicate Pre-Sales Principle(s) supporting the technical engagement.
    • Generate own new leads and convert to qualified opportunities associated with new clients within existing and new market sectors.
    • Takes the lead (co-ordinates) and responds to formal proposals, Inc. RFI/ RFQ/ RFP etc.
    • Attends networking events, tradeshows, thought-leadership programmes etc.
    • Works with DNV GL marketing to ensure we are ‘creative’ with will host client events both in-house & within off-site locations.
    • Works across (other) Business Area communities within DNV GL to create consultative solution selling strategies (One-DNV GL).
    • Works with Product Centre, Marketing and other relevant stakeholders to provide input into annual User Group meetings.
    • Will meet or exceed the revenue target for our products and identify short-term as well as long-term business opportunities.
    • Will use the CRM tool (Salesforce) to manage and record all stages of the sales cycle.
    • Will be a KPI driven, incentivised, individual and willing to work collaboratively in conjunction with Account Manager to ensure process of account transition is followed.

    Position Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent professional experience of sales and account management experience, preferably in software solution sales.
    • Proven track record in industrial or technical sales consistently meeting or exceeding increasing sales goals.
    • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in cross functional selling with ability to present oneself in a professional manner at all times.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage solution based sales at multiple levels within our customer’s organization.
    • Effective communication, particularly listening skills with both colleagues as well as customers.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to create and maintain profitable relationships with existing and potential customers.
    • Thorough understanding and execution of negotiating and closing in a win-win long term focused environment.
    • Willingness to travel within the Area/ Region and Internationally.
    • QHSE-Risk industry and market knowledge.
    • Software demonstration or continuous development of solution demonstration abilities.
