    Brief Team and Position Summary

     

    DNV GL – Business Assurance group is seeking to fill the role of Medical Services Customer Representative to join our North America team. This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the continental United States.

     

    The Medical Services Customer Representative position joins the Medical Device Certification scheme, leading sales and customer service of medical devices and/or management system certification according to Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, Medical Device Regulation 2017/745, and ISO 13485:2016.

     

    Tasks May Include

    • Develop and manage sales campaigns for medical device services in conjunction with BA Sales & Marketing Team
    • Management of customer processes including quoting, contract administration, planning/scheduling, processing of audit/assessment reports and certificates
    • Preparation of customer quotes, certification agreements, customer correspondence, periodic sales and project status reports
    • Implements sales campaigns, follow-up with sales leads and RFQ inquiries, Interface with medical technical production personnel for development of certification proposals & quotes, send and follow-up sales proposals with customer, processes accepted quotes, planning and scheduling of audit/assessment activities, manages internal service requests with the DNV GL certification/notified bodies

    Position Qualifications

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalency.  Some secondary education in relevant business or science studies will be a plus.
    • 3 years in related medical device certification industry, preferably in sales or customer management.
    • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook,
    • Heavy focus on verbal and written communication skills, good presentation abilities, history of self-managed work schedule, basic understanding of certification processes and medical device industry
    • Travel requirement (10% of the year) mostly training or meetings etc..
    • Job duties require ability to work in an office setting (home or corporate) and sit, stand, for long intervals.
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license and can rent and drive a car and travel on public conveyances when required.
    • We conduct a pre-employment background check and drug screen. 

    Preferred Skills

    • Bachelor Science in medical science related, biology, electrical engineering a plus.
    • Preferred demonstrated sales and/or operations success in Management Systems Certification (minimum 3 years)
    • Preferred experience selling into the Medical Device sector.
    • Knowledge of and/or experience with ISO standards,
    • Knowledge / experience with CRM system and overall sales processes applicable to professional services.
