  • Local Unit & Position Description

    We are looking for the Food&Beverage Technical Manager that will be a leader of a team of 3 to 5 people within the Technical & Governance Management Department of the Region RSEA.

    F&B Technical Manager role is to coordinate the F&B technical referents for each country of the RSEA and to deal with international DNV GL Business Assurance referents for F&B (e.g. Global Compliance Units) and organize the activities aimed to support F&B Sales and Operations.

    As a F&B Technical Manager you will be responsible for ensure the management, development and improvement of all Food & Beverage schemes through a homogeneous approach and adequate technical consistency of the whole process of service delivery in order to contribute to guarantee the positive development of the Company, its business activity and to meet DNV GL's and BA's requirements.

    The major areas of responsibility are:

    • Monitor the technical level of the performances of the provided services
    • Technical support to managing customer complaints
    • Technical support to managing all the activities related to the issues of the certificates
    • Be reference technical point for the whole organization.
    • Develop technical guidelines and new schemes in the belonging Country
    • Support the development of new schemes in the whole Region
    • Support Global projects development and application within the Region by contributing as part of the Regional Team
    • Develop and put in place methodologies in order to share knowledge / best practices etc.
    • Verify and control the technical competencies and development of the Technical Staff ensuring the “on the field” quality of the service.
    • Review and update the technical information package for MSC and New product standards
    • Committed in ensuring the fulfilment by both the employee Auditors and the Partners of the established requirements on the quality of the service
    • Cooperate in a positive and collaborative way with the other the Technical Managers
    • Ensure co-operation and team building among the other country Functions (Sales, Customer Care, GCUs, etc.)
    • Ensure the continuous deployment of OVV both internally and externally

    Position Qualifications

    • Education and experience within F&B sector (e.g. Food Safety, BRC, IFS, Fishing etc.)
    • Min. 5 years of experience in consulting/certification area
    • Very good verbal and written communication skills of English language
    • Leadership skills
    • Good communication skills
    • Avliability to build strong relationship with customers
    • Problem solving attitude
