    DNV GL are seeking an experienced professional for a Lead Auditor role. We welcome applications from individuals with a high level of experience in the IT, Information Security, Communications and Technology (ICT) sector.


    Candidates should have experience of management systems and auditing; however third party auditing experience is not necessary - a comprehensive training development process which develops the range of auditing skills and competencies will be provided.


    General description:

    Lead Auditor, multi-discipline qualified in ICT sector, matching the highest requirements of industry knowledge with at least 4 years of experience, and additional experience including managing complex projects and training delivery.

    Position Qualifications

    Lead Auditor role requirements:

    • Lead, organise and deliver management system audits, gap analysis, training, workshops;
    • Ability to manage larger or multi-discipline projects;
    • Is proactive and responsive to customers and provide solutions which take customer needs into consideration;
    • Plans and executes work with required quality and within agreed schedule, contract and budget;
    • Demonstrates clear accountability and ability to make own decisions in work;
    • Takes responsibility to acquire, extend and maintain qualifications and career development;
    • Understands relevant international standards and practices;
    • Works independently within several areas and disciplines;
    • Provides support, coaching, training and development to less experienced auditors;
    • Communicates and influences, using appropriate channels (face-to-face, verbal and written), in a clear, open, respectful and honest manner and seeks understanding of other views;
    • Actively contributes to the success of the team and collaborates to create results;
    • Builds good personal and professional relationships;
    • Is creative and takes initiatives;
    • Asks for and acts on feedback to learn and improve;
    • Able to travel throughout the UK and overseas.

    Qualifications and experience:

    • Qualifications and experience in one or more of the following Management systems:

      • Quality management ISO9001:2015

      • Information security management ISO27001:2013

      • IT Service Management ISO20000-1:2011

      • Business Continuity ISO22301:2012

      • TicKITplus

    • Experience in the relevant industry sectors to the above from current or previous employment;

    • Relevant degree and ideally a higher-level qualification;

    • UK and international experience ideal;

    • Legal right to live and work in the UK.
