    DNV GL – Energy’s GreenPowerMonitor group is seeking a Key Account Manager and Configuration Specialist to join our team. At GreenPowerMonitor we offer products and services in the renewable energy sector, with a specific focus in the photovoltaic, wind and energy storage space as we are a global technology solutions provider for the renewable energy industry. The Key Account Manager and Configuration Specialist is responsible for being the company’s direct point of contact with the client for all operational projects along with being the internal customer advocate. This individual will be the subject matter expert with regards to the company software tools, functionality and customization capabilities. This position is based out of our San Jose, CA office. 

     

    Tasks May Include

    • Responsible for the direct client communication acting as the GPM point of contact
    • Proactive client outreach building a personal relationship with multiple partners simultaneously
    • Can identify and understand the client’s needs while driving to the correct solutions.
    • Customer facing software user trainings with the focus on knowledge transfer and new feature release education to key partners
    • Technical configuration of GPM software platforms focused on the monitoring, control and asset management of renewable portfolios (primarily Solar, Wind, and Energy Storage).
    • Assist GPM teams in remote or on-site meetings as the product technical expert
    • Provide feedback and proposals to the product development team to improve the product offerings
    • Communicate software and hardware enhancement requests from the clients to product development
    • Provide on-demand support via phone, email and trouble tickets to our global customer base during regular business hours typically starting at 8:00 AM Pacific
    • Manage, track and drive to resolution the incidents reported by customers in the company ticket platforms
    • Constantly report bugs and be an internal Quality Control advocate
    • Direct knowledge of all components of the various GPM systems
    • Maintain real time status in company project management software
    • Will be an expert user and configurator of the GPM software deeply understanding all functionalities with the
    • ability to clearly communicate the capabilities to both client and internal stakeholders
    • Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly management reporting
    • Ability to fill in for all dependent positions

    Position Qualifications

    Requirements

     

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer/relationship management role
    • 2 years of experience working with monitoring or enterprise software required
    • Must be very proactive, self-driven and organized
    • Self-starter who demonstrates the ability to work in a global, cross-functional team environment, collaborating with groups of subject matter experts in different geographies and time-zones
    • Passionate individual eager to share and build knowledge with a multicultural group of young and talented colleagues
    • Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to clearly maintain organization in fast paced and stressful environments
    • Experience in conducting and preparing presentations/trainings to be delivered to internal and external C-Level demanding audiences
    • Basic understanding of computer networking and remote access tools
    • Knowledge in solar, wind and energy storage is a bonus
    • Knowledge in SQL Databases, XML, ZenDesk, and Salesforce prefrred
    • Must have experience working with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time
    • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Spanish desired
