  • Local Unit & Position Description

    Integrated in the Sales team of our subsidiary Business Assurance France (certifications, training, assessments, verifications), the Sales Area Manager will report to the Territory Sales Manager France.

    He/she will be in charge of developing DNV GL sales towards a local market of organisations and enterprises.

    This market involves both existing customers (loyalty and expansion) and prospects (conquest and development), located in his/her territory.

     

    Main Responsibilities:

    • In a proactive mode, approach targeted companies, identify and generate business opportunities in line with DNV GL services portfolio;
    • Develop a local network of partners (prescribers, business opportunities advisors, channels etc.);
    • In respect of DNV GL’s rules, prepare, submit and defend added-value proposals;
    • Follow-up, negotiate and conclude business contracts to achieve individual goals in a competed environment;
    • Sustain existing customers’ loyalty, deal with sales requests in coordination with other DNV GL departments;
    • Take part to local communication actions (events, tradeshows, conferences etc.).

    Position Qualifications

    • A three years’ successful experience in selling B to B solutions and services is needed (references to be provided)
    • Strongly business oriented, efficient, autonomous and accountable, with an entrepreneurship and developer mindset.
    • Enthusiastic, dynamic, resilient, opened to change and flexible.
    • Strong interpersonal relationship capacities, ability to work both remotely and with a team.
    • Ability to approach the decision makers the decision makers by listening to their expectation, understanding their stakes and goals, offering adapted/innovating/added-value solutions

    Owning an experience in QHSE Risk and/or Energy management and/or Sustainable Development combined with a demonstrated experience is selling certification services will provide a real additional advantage to the candidate, but are not requested for this job.

    Education: 
    Bachelor degree + 2 years minimum
    Sales and/or Business School Engineer/Graduate 

    Languages:
    French (native)+ English (Shall be fluent both in written and verbal modes)

    Travels: 
    In relation with the area to cover, the candidate shall be ready to travel in her/his dedicated geography (60 % of the overall time to be considered on field)
    Sales meetings, trainings and other business review meetings to be organised either in Lyon or in Europe (Regional HQ is located close to Milan – Italy)

    Home based office organisation with technical facilities provided by the company.

    Salary:

    TBD fixed (according to qualifications and experience) + variable pay+ Company car, PC, smartphone, other compensation bonuses
