    This position is based in our DNV GL Warsaw office.

    These include:

    • Under the supervision of senior staff, undertake energy production assessments which include - analysing wind and other climatic data (30%), inspecting sites and measurement equipment (30%), performing wind flow modelling (5%), assessing site conditions for turbine suitability (5%), predicting wind farm energy production (5%), conducting statistical uncertainty analyses (5%), writing technical reports and communicating results to clients (20%) across Central and Eastern Europe;
    • Manage projects to ensure they are completed within timescale and budget;
    • Prepare and coordinate proposals and bids within Central and Eastern Europe Markets.

    Position Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Master’s degree (or students in their final year of studies) in mechanical engineering, power engineering, physics, mathematics or any other relevant engineering or science degree;
    • Proficient working with MS Office Word/ Excel;
    • Strong overall computer skills and ability to learn multiple software tools required;
    • Experience in the statistical data analysis is a plus;
    • An interest in and aptitude for programming, experience in R and Python is a plus;
    • Fluency in English, Ukrainian or Russian (written and verbal); Polish is a plus;
    • Previous work or other experience that demonstrates the required skills is a plus;
    • Valid driver’s license;
    • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally to wind farm sites.
