    Are you inspired by new challenges? This job offers the possibility to develop and maintain a Hybrid Integration Platform of DNVGL.

    You will become part of Integration and Master Data Management section in GSS IT, our internal IT organization responsible for delivering a wide range of IT capabilities and capacities to business and corporate units, and to end users worldwide.

    The focus of the section is to manage, develop, operate and maintain DNV GL’s global integration and master data management solutions.

    These services are key capabilities in our common global business execution platform in DNV GL, called VerIT Enterprise.

You will work with data, applications, enterprise integrations and services of key importance for our daily business. You will do so in collaboration with dedicated colleagues representing diversity in experience and cultural background.

    The position is in Gdynia, but will be in close cooperation with the team in Norway. 

     

    Major tasks:

    • Manage and maintain the DNVGL’s Hybrid Integration Platform;
    • Develop and operate hybrid (on premise and cloud) real-time integration solutions on Microsoft Biztalk Server/Azure;
    • Manage Oracle SOA Suite solutions;
    • Work together with the rest of the Integration Team to ensure operational robustness, end to end support and monitoring of the batch and real-time integrations;
    • Work together with Infrastructure team on server operation, patching and version upgrades of SOA Suite and BizTalk Server;
    • Ensure that new and modified SOA Suite and Biztalk Server solutions are in accordance with the integration strategy and aligned with each other;
    • Close co-operation and contact with the rest of DNVGL’s Integration Team globally;
    • Ensure updated documentation and knowledge sharing of the enterprise middleware platforms and integration solutions.

    Position Qualifications

    Successful candidates should have a good understanding of the technical aspects of, as well as interest in, the supported business processes. We are looking for persons with experience or knowledge in on ore more of the following areas:

    • Bachelor or Master degree within the Information Technology domain;
    • Min. 2 years of experience in IT (Development or Operations, or DevOps);
    • Experience in Oracle SOA Suite and/or Microsoft Biztalk Server (preferred);
    • Knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite as well as other Oracle products and/or Microsoft BizTalk Server (preferred);
    • Experience with Linux OS;
    • Relational databases & SQL knowledge;
    • XML knowledge ;
    • Good understanding of DevOps environment;
    • Knowledge of SOA concept and real-time system integrations;
    • Good communication and cooperation skills – team player;
    • Advanced English – written and verbal (working language is English).
