  • Local Unit & Position Description

    ​Malaysia is part of O&G Region South East & Australia operations and holds an important and strategic position for us in the marketplace, both locally and globally. We are a team of 21 colleagues organized in 2 sections.

     

    We hold a diverse portfolio of customers in Malaysia and other countries in the Region, delivering services on asset integrity within the onshore and offshore oil, gas and process industries.

    • Acting as a senior engineer for projects
    • Supervising junior engineers
    • Acting as project manager
    • Support of the regional ISRS team
    • Drive business of technical safety and process safety services
    • Take part of the digital transformation in the Region
    • Secure projects to enhance DNV GL's competence and recognition in the industry

     

    Position Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, process, mechanical, etc.) or related discipline required
    • 10+ years of experience in technical positions within the O&G or process industry or in a similar role in the technical consultancy industry required
    • Experience in technical safety & process safety
    • Experience in HSE/Safety Case, CIMAH Regulation and other similar regulations, US OSHA PSM Regulations and NORSOK.
    • Experience in technical safety (such as QRA, Fire & Explosion Risk Assessment, EERA, ESSA)
    • Familiar with standards, such as: ISO 15544, ISO 13702, ISO 17776, API RP 14C/14E/14J/14G, API RP 2218 & API RP 2FB, API 520 & 521, API 500/505, IP15, PTS, SOLAS, FTP & LSA Code, NFPA, CMPT, OGP, CAP437, API 610.
    • HSE-MS auditing experiences is preferred
    • LOPC management
    • FMEA/CA, RAM, HAZID/HAZOP facilitation
    • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
