  • Local Unit & Position Description

    The Senior Proposal Coordinator shall be responsible for the management and coordination of commercial tendering activities in DNV GL Malaysia. The role shall include the coordination of bidding processes, preparation of high-quality proposals, and the management of all data relating to tendering activities.

    • Coordinate with technical teams to develop and maintain databases of project experience, CVs, licenses and other relevant tender information
    • Coordinate proposal activities with all relevant internal stakeholders including technical experts, legal, finance and management
    • Ensure the efficient and timely delivery of high-quality proposal documents
    • Develop and manage commercial assumptions as part of the tendering process
    • Develop clear and accurate costing models to ensure that required profitability targets are maintained
    • Ensure that all proposals are compliant with relevant internal and external requirements following Company Management System
    • Establish and maintain close relationships with key client commercial teams and support client clarifications and commercial negotiation
    • Manage the recording, update and tracking of opportunities and proposals within the corporate production system
    • Hand-over secured projects to execution teams
    • Develop and share lessons learnt from results of proposals and implement future changes
    • Management and supervision of junior proposals personnel

    Position Qualifications

    • ​Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related Engineering fields.
    • Minimum 8 years of work experience. 
    • High standard of written and spoken communication
    • Strong focus on time management and multitasking
    • Critical and analytical thinking
