    Are you an experienced and highly analytical Senior Consultant looking for an exciting role managing projects and developing new business in an industry leading and innovative consultancy unit within a globally respected brand?


    We help clients integrate sustainability, trust and performance into their core business strategy; operations and supply chains acting as a trusted third party delivering a full suite of assurance and advisory services.

    At present we’re looking for experienced Senior Consultants with exceptional project management, data analysis, customer engagement and business development skills to join our rapidly expanding international team in London.


    We are particularly interested in candidates with proven track records and thought leadership in one or more of our world renowned service lines in: sustainability strategy; report assurance; sustainable supply chain transformation; responsible finance. We also place a premium on exceptional data analytical skills and digital competence.


    The applicant should be able to making a significant contribution to business development and team sales working with Principal Consultants and their teams to identify pursue and win new business with both existing and new customers.


    Having  contributed to winning new work they should then be capable of leading project teams of consultants on significant projects to deliver consultancy and digital solutions in line with our customers’ high expectations, tight deadlines and our own highest standards. They should have the expertise, skills and creativity to generate triple bottom line value for our clients in terms of ESG outcomes but also in terms of tangible financial returns.


    Our Team:


    Our UK team is based predominantly at our offices on the south bank (central London near Blackfriars/Waterloo) sits within our Business Assurance division and works closely with our global DNV GL advisory sustainability team.


    Key Accountabilities:


    You will be expected to work across our range of sustainability services, which include:

    • Supply chain sustainable transformation services
    • Formulation of innovative & sector specific value propositions that support sales of these services
    • Leadership of delivery of major projects focussed on these services
    • Contributing to the broader sales and delivery efforts across all services: Assurance services Strategy; Green Bonds and finance; Climate change; Sustainability report writing; 

    You will be expected to play a key role amongst the senior business development group – Growth Leaders including:

    • Delivery to quarterly sales targets
    • Leading major sales pursuits whether new business or sales to key accounts
    • Ensuring project teams deliver to clients’ expectations, on time, on budget and to DNV GL quality standards
    • Delivering the target level of utilisation on fee paying work
    • Leading the communication with selected clients to drive growth
    • Leading the development for specific sectors
    • Working with existing and potential clients to help establish their individual needs, identifying and recommending appropriate solutions tapping into DNV GL capability across Business Assurance division and the wider group
    • Make leading contributions to thought leadership in your focus areas and sectors 

    Position Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

    • Gravitas, expertise and credibility to play a leading role in business development related to one of our priority service lines.
    • Solution building capabilities - able to understand customer challenges, value drivers and creatively and collaboratively propose compelling solutions
    • Ability to direct the work of project teams efficiently and effectively with a customer focussed but commercially astute mindset
    • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to generate deep insights from large & complex data sets
    • Outstanding communication skills
    • Ability to direct teams and to manage a number of tasks in parallel and to demanding deadlines
    • An understanding of conflicting stakeholder needs and ability to develop solutions to address these.
    • Willingness to travel and work around the UK and overseas.
