Local Unit & Position Description

  • Responsible for executing functional and technical 2nd level application support for the DNV GL HR application environment, especially the Learning Management System;
  • Execute and manage configuration enhancements and technical changes based on new requirements;
    Ensure alignment of deliveries and services within the GSS IT Global Application Services environment in close co-operation with other relevant units in GSS IT;
  • Deliver stable and well performing applications & services as agreed;
  • Provide consulting services to the Business in terms of enhancements / future developments of process- and IT-solutions;
  • Participate in projects related to our LMS and integrated IT systems;

Position Qualifications

  • Experience in operation of IT applications, preferably HR and/or Learning Management solutions
  • Experience and knowledge in IT integration principles specifically focused on HR, Finance and/or CRM
  • Understanding of eCommerce transactions and processes is preferable but not mandatory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team with taking ownership of the team’s duties
  • Result oriented, organised and proactive
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to given deadlines
  • Strong analytical expertise and capacity of solving problems
  •  “Hands-on” mentality
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills in English;
  • Good networking and interpersonal skills, also across cultures and organisational boundaries
  • Reasonable international travel must be expected

The solution is embedded in DNV GL’s Veracity platform and integrated with finance applications for order management and invoicing, CRM applications for customer contact and opportunity management and supports eCommerce for payment and taxation.


There are large opportunities and possibilities to participate both in the operation and maintenance of the solution as well as project activities to further implement and roll out the application to more business areas in DNV GL.
