Brief Team and Position Summary

 

DNV GL - Energy's Sustainable Energy Use is seeking a Project Administrator to join our Program Development and Implementation (PDI) team. PDI helps commercial and industrial utility customers save energy and money. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills and will assist the Outreach team with administrative and operational tasks. This position is based in our Okemos, Michigan office.

 

Tasks may Include:

  • Quick, accurate and timely data entry of project work and supporting documentation
  • Assist managers with effective facilitation of team and client meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, tracking action items, and proactively following up on action items
  • Tracking team progress on assignments and projects
  • Updating periodic reports and presentations
  • Fielding and logging telephone calls from customers and contractors
  • Scanning, faxing, copying, uploading of documentation; maintaining paper and electronic files
  • Invoicing and budget management
  • General office duties, including greeting visitors, receiving packages, managing mail, office supplies and logistics
  • Preparing and mailing correspondence

Position Qualifications

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Business or related discipline and 3 years or in lieu of degree must have at least 5 years of professional experience in administrative services 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Experience in the energy efficiency industry is preferred 
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Must be able to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written), customer service and phone skills, organization, grammar, and spelling skills are essential
  • Ability to work well under pressure in time-critical situations and be productive and self-motivated during slow periods
  • Ability to take direction from multiple people and perform varied tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service attitude and team-oriented spirit
  • Works according to detailed procedures but also demonstrates independent judgment and takes initiative in improving processes, quality control
  • Ability to work with local and national team members
