Local Unit & Position Description

Global Shared Services IT is the DNV GL IT organization responsible for delivering a wide range of IT capabilities and capacities to business and corporate units and end-users worldwide. GSS IT with nearly 400 employees worldwide is the internal service provider for IT support globally in DNV GL and has a key role in system evaluation, development, and integration.


We are seeking an Application Manager
for our CRM team based in Gdynia, Poland.


The CRM unit has four employees in Gdynia and ten on a global basis. The unit hires in a significant number of software developers, varying from twenty to fifty dependent on the development workload.


The position reports to the CRM Head of Section, while functional day-to-day reporting will be to the Service manager for the applications in Arnhem.


In your role you will:

  • Implement the resource management tool (PRM), manage and support this tool
  • Maintenance and support of the CRM application Lead to Contract (L2C). This application is the core sales support application in the business area Energy.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Energy Project Reference Database (EPRD)
  • Perform end-user training
  • Offer 2nd line support to application super/end users
  • Perform end to end testing

Position Qualifications

To maximize your chances, you need:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Databases and ability to write SQL queries, as well as knowledge of Oracle databases

  • Some Power BI knowledge would be an advantage

  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions

  • Initial project management experience

  • Basic knowledge of software development and maintenance

  • Good communication skills

  • Excellent English language skills in writing and in speech

  • Personal characteristics such as:

    • Business mindset and interest to learn business processes

    • Team-oriented and service-minded approach

    • Positive attitude

    • Structured and accurate way of working
