The position is a part of Grid Integration Team.

 

The main areas of this unit include:

  • Generation of Dynamic Simulation Systems for Renewable Energy Plants in different specialized Software
  • Creation of User Models of Power Electronics and Control Systems
  • Direct Contact with customers
  • Providing support to customers
  • Generation of Technical Reports and Grid Code Compliance Studies

Position Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Industrial/Electrical/Energy Engineering (or other relevant disciplines)
  • 1-2 years working experience
  • Good communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and oral
  • Specific Knowledge about

    - Electric Sector

    - Electric Power System analysis

    - Power Electronics analysis

  • C, Python, Fortran, Simulink programming experience

  • Simulation skills with PSCAD / PSS®E / DigSilent Power Factory / EMPT-RV / PSLF / Matlab

  • Previous renewable energy, consulting, project management, electronics experience or credentials
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to write clear and accurate reports in English
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation, including a willingness to develop and enjoy taking challenges and responsibilities

Desired skills:

  • Renewable Energy Market knowledge
  • Dynamic and Static Simulations and Power Flow resolutions knowledge
