Local Unit & Position Description

Our customers requiring a wide range of certification skills and knowledge. From materials and welding to highly sophisticated machinery systems (gears, thrusters, compressors) to pressure vessels and pumps to electrical installations and automation systems.

 

From this traditional background, we started a journey covering advanced future technology as well. Fuel cells, new types of turbines, advanced electrical drives, and lithium batteries for ship propulsion.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Certification and verification of materials and components underclass and non-class related systems and processes mainly Basque Country, Cantabria, and Asturias
  • Managing our clients together with other relevant parts of our organization
  • Project-orientated work - cooperation in interdisciplinary verification projects

Position Qualifications

  • Master/Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Marine Engineering (or other relevant disciplines)
  • Valid qualification and good knowledge as CMC/VMC surveyor
  • Valid driver license required and acceptable driving record meeting company requirements; ability to rent a vehicle
  • Good communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and oral
  • Ability to work flexibly, independently, result-oriented and self-organized
  • Customer-oriented approach
  • Demonstrate an initiative / eagerness to work and learn
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Prepared for active support of our processes on the way of transformation in a new digital world.

Depending on your profile, we will be willing to support your competence development in order to get the necessary MTAS elements.

You will belong to our NB/CMC team in Spain.
