We are seeking  Cloud Application Java Developer (PaaS) in HCM
for our IT HR Support team based in Gdynia, Poland.

 

The focus for this role will be to manage, support and enhance the DNV GL HR applications and participate in GSS IT projects related to HR processes ensuring alignment and co-operation with the HR community and the DNV GL overall system landscape.

 

DNV GL is utilizing the Oracle HCM Cloud platform including different Oracle based PaaS cloud services as well as Seertech’s iLearning Plus as the groupwide global HR system. There are large opportunities and possibilities to participate both in the operation and project initiatives implementing further modules and functionalities. In your role you will:

  • Technical responsibility for the competence management module built with Oracle PaaS cloud services
  • Responsible for executing functional and technical 2nd level application support for the DNV GL HR application environment which includes
    • Application analysis, configuration and development
    • Alignment with PaaS vendor
    • Communication with users
  • Ensure stable and well performing HR applications & services;
  • Ensure alignment of deliveries and services within the GSS IT Global Application Services environment;
  • Contribute to HCM release management by regression testing and monitoring the relevant documentations and community platforms;
  • Provide consulting services to the HR Business in terms of enhancements / future developments of process- and IT-solutions;
  • Execute and manage configuration and development of enhancements and technical changes based on new requirements;
  • Participate in projects related to our HR applications and IT systems;
  • Collaborate with other IT teams using Oracle Cloud PaaS services to ensure proper IT architecture design and stability of the platform

Position Qualifications

To maximize your chances, you need:

  • IT development knowledge and experiences in Java, Java Script, SQL, UI technologies
  • Knowledge in Java EE / Jakarta EE enterprise architecture concepts and experiences in handling and managing services;
  • Preferably experience in configuration, development and maintenance of HR applications on Oracle HCM Cloud technology;
  • Preferably knowledge of HR-IT solutions (e.g. Core HR, Competence Management, Talent Management, etc.);
  • Experience in standard IT support processes including ticket handling;
  • Self-driven with the willingness to take ownership in work tasks;
  • Focus on delivery of results and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to tight deadlines;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Organised and proactive;
  • Team-oriented and good networking and interpersonal skills, also across cultures and organisational boundaries;
  •  “Hands-on” mentality;
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills in English;
  • Willingness to learn and keep up with changes;
  • Reasonable international travel can be expected.
