DNV GL GTR Maritime Program work to prepare DNV GL Business Area Maritime and our external customers for the future technologies.
To accelerate the uptake of digital technologies within shipping, we are looking into data driven services and how to trust in the related data used.
A summer job in GTR Maritime Program will consist of teamwork on specific tasks guided by our researchers.

Knowledge and experience with developing software, user friendly software tools, and applying modern data analysis techniques such as machine learning is an advantage.
The summer jobs will focus on analysis of data from communication, navigation and propulsion systems on ships. These systems produce sensor data and event and alarm logs that are used by the crew to operate and maintain the ship. However, as the data can tell a lot about the ship’s health status and how it is being operated, it can also be the raw material for analysis and further insight.
