Local Unit & Position Description

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive person, willing to work in an international communication team and eager to learn, to join us as Communication Specialist.

The person will be part of the Northern & Southern Europe and Africa Regional Communication Team (NE&SEA) supporting the development and execution of the Annual Operational Plan 2021 local plans leveraging communication, social, web and digital channels to reach the awareness, engagement and lead generation priorities.

 

The NE&SEA Comm Team supports the two different Business Areas - Business Assurance (BA) and Supply Chain & Product Assurance (SC&PA) - in all the regional countries (Italy & Adriatic; Iberia, France, Norway, UK, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Africa) focusing mainly on:

  • Pipeline generation (acquiring new customers, retaining and renewing business with existing customers)
  • Social Media and digital activities leveraging external and internal organic and paid channels such us Linkedin, twitter, Youtube, together with Internal ones (mainly Intranet, Yammer).
  • External comm, leveraging external campaigns, events, media opportunities and co-brand activities. Spread mindshare and brand awareness, focusing on value propositions and customers references to reinforce DNV external positioning.
  • Supporting Internal communication and engagement in spreading of knowledge and the sharing of objectives, values ​​and vision within the organization, collaborates with other Departments and functions (HR, sales, GSS) to strength employees’ involvement and maintain a high sense of belonging. In alignment with corporate values and vision, implements the internal communication plans.

Activities and main tasks:

The Communication Specialist will work closely with all the member of the NE&SEA communication team in positioning DNV brand internally and externally in an omnichannel approach. Collaborate is crucial within the team to be fast in the creation, updating, localization and monitoring of the communication plans.

The person we are looking for will be in charge of:

  • Supporting in leveraging specific local Go to Market (GTM) activities
  • Set-up and execute social and digital marketing campaigns
  • Organize and execute DNV participation to events, tradeshow and webinar.
  • Support the localization and development of global communication value prop and projects.
  • Providing general support to the members of the regional Communication Team

In particular:

  • Develop and maintain the local website. Supporting other websites in the Region (Italian and English)
  • Newsletters, nurturing campaign, digital campaigns
  • Execute Social Media activities: editorial plans, campaigns management on social media, You Tube, Linkedin, Linkedin Ads and Twitter
  • Manage Google Ads campaigns, SEO & SEM, Google Analytics, Google Adwords,
  • Reporting in Google Analytics
  • Work on SEO - search engine optimization and search engine marketing campaigns to improve visibility and drive traffic.
  • Participates in execute integrated communication plans, with a special focus on digital/social projects, in alignment with global plans
  • Manage internal communications media and tools (intranet, newsletters, graphic e-mail, videos, etc.), to ensure proper sharing of company assets.
  • Manages and execute internal events 

Position Qualifications

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive candidate, willing to work in a team and eager to learn.

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (marketing, social media, communication and graphics preferred)
  • Knowledge in MS Office programs as Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Good knowledge of social media
  • Good knowledge of the Internet world (search engines, community)
  • Knowledge of Photoshop or other similar tools
