Local Unit & Position Description

DNV GL Energy’s Sustainable Use group is seeking a Project Administrator to be based in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The successful candidate will be part of a team of administration professionals responsible for the day-to-day execution of a program which provides services to NV Energy in support of the Clean Energy Programs.  The NV Energy Clean Energy Programs are a series of incentives available to NV Energy customers to promote and create a self-sufficient distributed renewable energy industry in Nevada. The Project Administrator is directly responsible for processing, data entry, and reservation activity of renewable applications for solar interconnection applications energy storage and electric vehicle incentives and will interact and coordinate with the renewable engineering staff. 



Tasks May Include

  • Responsibility to ensure the accurate and timely processing of renewable energy applications
  • Fielding and logging telephone calls from customers and contractors
  • Managing the Programs email box
  • Maintaining paper and electronic files
  • Creating and updating electronic forms and spreadsheets
  • Preparation of reports
  • Data entry
  • Project management support
  • Database management
  • Faxing, copying, scanning and filing of documentation
  • Assisting with receptionist duties as necessary, including greeting visitors, receiving packages, managing mail

Position Qualifications



  • High School Diploma
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in administrative services
  • Experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written), customer service and phone skills, organization, grammar, and spelling skills 
  • Ability to work well under pressure in time-critical situations and be productive and self-motivated during slow periods.
  • Must be able to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Positive, collaborative and team-oriented attitude
  • We conduct pre-employment background and drug screenings


Preferred Skills

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Business or Technical field
  • 1+ Years energy experience
  • Experience with PowerClerk, an online web application which manages incentive programs
