DNV - Energy Systems is seeking a Prescriptive /Custom Program Lead to join our Program Development and Implementation (PDI) team. PDI helps commercial and industrial utility customers save energy and money. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills and will be responsible for the successful delivery of  a Prescriptive / Custom Incentive program including energy savings and incentive spend goals and leading process improvement efforts for the program. This position is based in our Newark, New Jersey office.

 

Tasks May Include:

  • Responsible for delivery of program goals and objectives in alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Monitor project billing against internal and client budgets, savings goals and resource utilization
  • Gather intelligence and obtain a clear and comprehensive understanding of the client's business issues and challenges
  • Monitor application data entry, database management, database update and maintenance
  • Matrixed management of program support from Outreach, Marketing, Engineering and Administrative teams including
    • Outreach lead generation strategy, staff activity and reporting
    • Trade Ally Program Rules and Processes training and ongoing support
    • Marketing campaigns, collateral and vehicles to program participants
  • Assistance with effective facilitation of team and client meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, tracking action items, and proactively following up on action items
  • Periodically field, log and address email and telephone correspondence calls from customers and contractors
  • Prepare time-sensitive deliverables for program stakeholders

Position Qualifications

Requirements

 

  • Associates Degree or higher in Business and 5 years of professional experience in administrative services or sales or related discipline
  • In lieu of degree minimum of 7 years of professional experience in administrative services or sales required
  • Must be able to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written), customer service and phone skills, organization, grammar, and spelling skills are essential
  • Ability to work well under pressure in time-critical situations and be productive and self-motivated during slow periods
  • Ability to take and give direction from multiple people and perform varied tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service attitude and team-oriented spirit
  • Strong knowledge in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Ability to bend, lift, and reach consistent with typical office work
  • We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening

 Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or technical discipline
  • Previous experience working with, or for, Utility commercial or industrial EE programs
  • Knowledge of energy savings metrics a plus
  • Some sales experience is highly desired
  • Previous experience with customer relationship manager (CRM) software
  • Previous experience with financial/accounting systems
  • Experience in a continuous improvement environment
