DNV – Energy’s Green Power Monitor group is seeking a Customer Success SCADA Specialist to join our team. At Green Power Monitor we offer products and services in the renewable energy sector, with a specific focus in the photovoltaic, wind and energy storage space as we are a global technology solutions provider for the renewable energy industry.

The Customer Success SCADA Specialist is responsible for being the company’s direct point of contact with the client for all operational projects along with being the internal customer advocate. This individual will be the subject matter expert with regards to the company hardware devices, software tools, functionality and customization capabilities.


This is a remote position based from any location in the continental U.S. (except Colorado).


Tasks May Include

  • Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Work with customers to determine their needs and then recommend the right product to solve the customer’s problem
  • Provide prompt responses to customer requests in timely manner via phone calls, video conference, and email
  • Occasional travel and visits to customer locations and project locations may be required
  • Orchestrate customer training sessions to empower customers to be self-sufficient
  • Use company literature and available training resources to stay up to date on product/service features

Position Qualifications


  • Associate's Degree required
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a client support or client facing role
  • Working knowledge of popular North American inverter and wind turbine brands
  • Understanding of SCADA and DAS solutions
  • Ability to read, understand, and edit electrical CAD drawings for renewable energy projects
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Modbus, Python, Javascript, Visio, and others is preferred
  • Comfortable working in outdoor environments as needed
  • Occasional training sessions at GPM office locations required
  • Must possess valid Passport without international travel restrictions
  • Must be comfortable working remotely
  • Must have a home office or office space available if not close to a regional company office
  • NFPA 70E Arc Flash Training, optional
  • NABCEP certification, current or previous, optional
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Direct knowledge of competing products, specifically AlsoEnergy, NorCal Controls, Power Factors, WonderWare, or others
  • Bilingual English / Spanish desired
