The global Business Intelligence team, present in Norway, China, Poland, Netherlands and Germany, is one of the key units in providing data, analytical services, insights and other data-enabled solutions to DNV GL’s internal and external customers.

Join us to further develop our on-premise, enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platform and help build analytical services for our Microsoft Azure based Industry Data Platform – Veracity.


Areas of responsibilities / Key tasks:

  • Designing, coding, testing and documenting in Informatica PowerCenter
  • Designing, coding, testing and documenting in SQL (NZ-SQL, T-SQL)
  • Assisting in building analytical solutions in Microsoft Azure cloud
  • Troubleshooting DWH and BI solutions
  • Investigating and supporting fixing of performance issues

Technologies the candidate will be working with:

  • Informatica Powercenter 9.6.1 HF3
  • IBM Netezza
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Microsoft Azure cloud stack (Azure SQL DB, Azure DWH and more)
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • IBM Cognos
  • JIRA

Position Qualifications



  • Master’s Degree in computer science, software development or other relevant fields
  • Mandatory 3+ years of work experience in Informatica PowerCenter
  • Excellent SQL skills (T-SQL, NZ-SQL)
  • Good understanding of BI/DWH concepts and Data modelling (Kimball)


  • Experience in working with MS Azure
  • Experience in working with reporting tools like Power BI, Cognos

  • Able to work consistently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and good customer service skills
  • Able to follow processes and escalate issues

  • Must have professional demeanor and ability to prioritize work
  • Great communication skills and fluency in English as a working language
