Local Unit & Position Description

The position Operation and maintenance of HPL is organizationally included in technical section.


Operation and maintenance of HPL is subordinated to the Head of technical section.


Main duties:


  • Participates on the test shift
  • According to the HPL test shift leader he manages the connecting of the test equipment into the test circuit and preparation of the test circuit for testing
  • Operates the test facility
  • Makes adjustments of the test circuit during the test shift according to the HPL test shift leader´s instructions
  • Ensures operation of the oil economy, water cooling, operating compressor stations, transformer stations, substations, preparion halls, etc
  • Ensures the operation, maintenance, revision of the cranes and mobile transport company funds
  • Performs and provides maintenance and reparation of all technical equipment in the machinery hall and related operations (oil, water cooling, compressor stations, transformer stations, substations, etc)
  • Provides inspections, revisions and maintenance of the equipment according to the regulations for operation and maintenance and ensures the elimination of the identified deficiencies and defects
  • Leads the prescribed registration of operation, maintenance, repair equipment failures
  • Leads and maintains the technical documentation about facility within the specified range
  • Leads the storage of consumables and spare parts for the operations and maintenance of technical equipment of machinery hall and manages it
  • Provides handling with the testing material from its acceptance for test until the giving it back to the customer
  • Independently or in collaboration with the customer they unpack the test equipment and prepare the equipment for the customer after finishing the test
  • Prepares the test equipment for the testing according to the instructions, leads its connection to the test circuit and its disconnecting after the test finishes
  • Manages the Book of acceptance and issue of test equipment
  • Manages the assembly of test circuits in the test areas according to the instructions
  • Performs maintenance of the allocated test equipment and property
  • Participates in the implementation of investments projects

Position Qualifications

  • Certificate of apprenticeship / secondary education in electrical engineering – distribution or transmission networks, production of electricity, electrician, mechanic;
  • Knowledge of maintenance of electrical machinery and devices;
  • Decree no. 50, min. § 5;
  • English language (beginners);
  • Fluency in Czech both written and spoken;
  • Basic IT skills;
  • Good communication skills Microsoft office;
  • Driving license group B.
