Local Unit & Position Description

The Global Centre Finance will deliver high quality services to European countries related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Record to Report processes. Services will be rendered in close collaboration with the GSS Finance Regional Centers, together developing the Global Shared Service Finance function for DNV GL.


We are seeking Accounts Receivable Intern for the Global Centre GSS Finance based in Gdynia, Poland.

Accounts Receivable Intern will initially report to the Head of Section for Accounts Receivable. The Accounts Receivable Intern is a member of a team of accountants; overseeing all AR-related duties of a given geographical region.


To succeed in this role, you need to be a team player with ability to create an atmosphere of motivation and enthusiasm to be part of building up the Global Centre. You will play a key role in service implementation of the accounts receivable processes.


Key tasks:


  • Processing automatic dunning in a timely and accurate manner
  • Understanding and developing the current state of processes
  • Analyzing and responding to Client’s and customer’s requests
  • Working closely with the Client and building up good relationship
  • Working on everyday improvements to the process.

Position Qualifications

  • Student with good analytical skills and relevant degree in economic or science studies in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Multitasking and ability to meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools (especially Excel)
  • Practical experience (internship, work practice) gained during studies will be an advantage
  • Previous experience with a Professional Services Company will be an advantage
  • Excellent English skills required, written and verbal (Additional European language skills will be an advantage)
