Local Unit & Position Description

The DNV GL Loads and Power Performance and Wind Resource Section consists of 14 engineers, who conduct Mechanical Load and Power Performance prototype tests. In addition, engineers in the unit are running a LiDAR validation bench test. The projects are mainly within the Central Unit while other measurement hubs in Asia and Americas are supported by our colleagues.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support of Project Engineers in Loads
  • Power Performance and LiDAR measurement campaigns
  • Project Assistance for Project Manager
  • Data quality checks
  • Support in instrumentation preparation
  • Installation and Maintenance of instrumentation on (field-) site
  • Software and Tool development

Position Qualifications

  • Academic degree in Technical Studies (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wind Energy Engineering)
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and VB NET
  • Fluent English language skills (both written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of common programming languages, preferred
  • Driving license type B
