Local Unit & Position Description

DNV GL - Energy’s Sustainable Use group is seeking a National Key Accounts Professional. DNV GL has been retained by Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) to implement several of its energy efficiency programs for business customers. ComEd commercial and industrial customers will be eligible for technical and financial support to make their facilities more energy efficient. This position is dedicated to serving the large customers that have locations across the country (chain restaurants, retailers, etc.). This position is based out of our Oak Brook, IL office. 

 

Task May Include

 

  • Develop close relationships with energy manager decision makers at National Key Account Customers 
  • Provide quarterly reports, updating their project status to National Key Account Customers
  • Review facility planning and budgeting with customers to forecast potential projects
  • Develop relationships and provide support for National Trade Allies both local and national trade allies and rebate analysts.
  • Provide training for the National Trade Allies
  • Provide quarterly performance reports for the National Trade Allies
  • Develop relationships with the Utility Large Customer National Key Account team
  • Attend all meetings scheduled by the utility NKA Manager
  • Provide updates to the LCS team on the energy efficiency programs as needed
  • Attend National Account facility assessment meetings and provide follow up on identified opportunities
  • Interface with DNV GL National Accounts internal team and assist with relevant initiatives
  • Attend relevant National Key Account workshops yearly

  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor's or higher degree preferred 
  • Minimum 3 years of Energy Efficiency experience within manufacturing, distribution or sales with the National Account segment or Utility experience
  • Passionate about energy efficiency and customer service
  • Ability to multi task with high exposure customers and clients
  • Must be able to give professional presentations to small, medium and large audiences
  • Must have outstanding time management skills
  • Must be able to use the CRM (Sales Force)
  • Must be a team player, internally and externally
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must be able to meet the requirements to drive for company business
  • Willingness and ability to travel, up to 50% of the time
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
