Local Unit & Position Description

Integrated in the Sales team of our subsidiary Business Assurance France (certifications, training, assessments, verifications), the Sales Area Responsible will report to the Sales Manager France.


He/she will be in charge of developing DNV GL sales towards a local market of organisations and enterprises.



This market involves both existing customers (loyalty and expansion) and prospects (conquest and development), located in a geographical area around Marseille.


Home based office organisation with technical facilities provided.




In relation with the area to cover, the candidate shall be ready to travel in her/his dedicated geography (60 % of the overall time to be considered on field).

Sales meetings, trainings and other business review meetings to be organised either in Lyon or in Europe (Regional HQ is located close to Milan – Italy).


Main Responsibilities:

  • In a proactive mode, approach targeted companies, identify and generate business opportunities in line with DNV GL services portfolio;
  • Supply chain management audit;
  • Develop a local network of partners (prescribers, business opportunities advisors, channels;
  • In respect of DNV GL’s rules, prepare, submit and defend added-value proposals;
  • Follow-up, negotiate and conclude business contracts to achieve individual goals in a competed environment;
  • Sustain existing customers’ loyalty, deal with sales requests in coordination with other DNV GL departments,
    Take part to local communication actions (events, tradeshows, conferences).

Position Qualifications

  • Strongly business oriented, efficient, autonomous and accountable, with an entrepreneurship and developer mindset;
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, resilient, opened to change and flexible;
  • Strong interpersonal relationship capacities, ability to work both remotely and with a team;
  • Ability to approach and convince the decision makers by listening to their expectation, understanding their stakes and goals, offering adapted/innovating/added-value solutions;
  • A three years’ successful experience in selling B to B solutions and services is needed (references to be provided);
  • Owning a demonstrated experience in selling management and product certification services, combined with an experience in Supply Chain management and/or QHSE Risk management will provide a real additional advantage to the candidate, but are not requested for this job;
  • French (native)+ English (both written and spoken);
  • Bachelor degree + 2 years minimum: Sales and/ or Business School Engineer/ Graduate.
